Original tune for this song was from the movie 'Dasataan' in 1950 starring Raj Kapoor & Surayya. The tune given by Naushad 'Ta ra ree Ta ra ree' sung by Mohd. Rafi (for Raj Kapoor) & Surayya created a big sensation through out the country. Nyapathi Raghava Rao, founder of Balanandam got inspired with this tune & wrote Telugu lyrics & modified it as a special song for children . 1950 లో 'దాస్తాన్' అనే హిందీ సినిమా వచ్చింది. రాజ్ కపూర్, సురయ్యా హీరో హీరోయిన్లు. నౌషాద్ సంగీత దర్శకుడు. ఈ చిత్రంలో మహ్మద్ రఫీ (రాజ్ కపూర్ కి), సురయ్యా పాడిన 'తా ర రీ ... తా ర రీ' పాట ఆ రోజుల్లో చాలా పెద్ద హిట్టు. ఆ పాట పాడుకొనని వాళ్ళు, తెలియని వాళ్ళు, ఇన్ స్పయిర్ కానివాళ్ళు ఆ జనరేషన్ లో లేరనే చెప్పాలి. అంతగా దేశం మొత్తం సంగీతాభిమానుల్ని కుదిపేసిందా పాట. బాలానందం వ్యవస్థాపకులు న్యాపతి రాఘవరావు గారు చాలా ముచ్చటపడ్డారీ పాట విని. అంతేకాదు పిల్లలు పాడుకోవడానికి అనువుగా ఆ ట్యూన్ కి తెలుగులో సాహిత్యాన్ని సమకూర్చుకొని పిల్లలతో పాడించారు. ఆపాటని వినాలంటే పై నున్న మ్యూజిక్ స్టేషన్ దగ్గర క్లిక్ చెయ్యండి.
